Cookie policy
This is a translation for information purposes. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version shall prevail.
Use of cookies on this site
In compliance with Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE), we inform you about the use of cookies and similar technologies on the Ntasys website.
This website does not use its own cookies or any analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. For this reason, we do not show you any notice asking you to accept them.
The LSSICE applies to any type of file or device downloaded onto a user’s terminal equipment in order to store data that may be updated and retrieved by the entity responsible for installing it. A cookie is one of these widely used files, which we will refer to generically as cookies.
Cookies are small text files sent to a browser by a web server to record the user’s activity on a website, so that this information can be retrieved later while browsing the different pages connected to the server that installed them.
Cookies usually store technical information, personal preferences, content customisation, usage statistics, links to social networks, access to user accounts, etc.
Technologies used by this site
Local storage of your language preference
If you choose a language (Spanish or English) or close the notice suggesting the other version of the page, your browser saves that choice in its local storage (localStorage) under the name ntasys-lang. It only contains the code of the chosen language (“es” or “en”), includes no personal data, is not sent to our servers or to third parties, and remains in your browser until you delete it. This is technical storage, necessary to remember an option you have expressly requested.
Google Maps map
On some pages we show the location of our office. The map is not loaded until you click the “Show map” button. Only at that moment does your browser connect to Google, and Google may set or read its own cookies, which are third-party cookies managed by Google LLC. You can find out how Google uses them in its privacy policy and its information about cookies. If you do not click the button, no connection is made to Google.
Types of cookies
Cookies are classified below according to a number of categories. Please bear in mind, however, that the same cookie may fall into more than one category.
According to the entity that manages them
- First-party cookies: Cookies sent to the user’s terminal equipment from a computer or domain managed by the publisher itself, from which the service requested by the user is provided.
- Third-party cookies: Cookies sent to the user’s terminal equipment from a computer or domain that is not managed by the publisher but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.
Where cookies are installed from a computer or domain managed by the publisher itself, but the information collected through them is managed by a third party, they are not considered first-party cookies.
According to how long they remain active
Depending on how long they remain active on the terminal equipment, we can distinguish between:
- Session cookies: Cookies designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a web page. They are usually used to store information that is only relevant for providing the service requested by the user on a single occasion (e.g. a list of products purchased).
- Persistent cookies: Cookies whose data remains stored on the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the party responsible for the cookie, which may range from a few minutes to several years.
According to their purpose
Depending on the purpose for which the data obtained through cookies is processed, we can distinguish between:
- Technical cookies: Cookies that allow the user to browse a website, platform or application and use the different options or services it offers, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted areas, remembering the items in an order, completing the purchase process of an order, applying to register for or take part in an event, using security features while browsing, storing content for the broadcasting of videos or sound, or sharing content through social networks.
- Personalisation cookies: Cookies that allow the user to access the service with certain predefined general characteristics based on a series of criteria on the user’s terminal, such as the language, the type of browser used to access the service, the regional settings from which the service is accessed, etc.
- Analytics cookies: Cookies that allow the party responsible for them to monitor and analyse the behaviour of users of the websites to which they are linked. The information collected through this type of cookie is used to measure the activity of websites, applications or platforms and to create browsing profiles of their users, in order to make improvements based on the analysis of usage data.
- Advertising cookies: Cookies that allow the most efficient management possible of the advertising spaces that the publisher may have included on a web page, application or platform from which the requested service is provided, based on criteria such as the content published or the frequency with which ads are shown.
- Behavioural advertising cookies: Cookies that allow the most efficient management possible of the advertising spaces that the publisher may have included on a web page, application or platform from which the requested service is provided. These cookies store information on user behaviour obtained through continuous observation of their browsing habits, which makes it possible to develop a specific profile to display advertising based on it.
Of all of these, this website only uses the technical storage of your language preference described above. Google Maps cookies, if they are set at all, are third-party cookies and only occur when you click “Show map”.
How to disable cookies in the main web browsers
To configure the use of cookies and delete the data stored by websites (including local storage), follow the instructions for your browser or consult its help pages:
What happens if cookies are not accepted
As this site does not use its own cookies, you can browse it normally even if you block them. If you block Google cookies, the map may not display correctly; our office address remains available on the page. If you delete local storage, the website will suggest the language again the next time you visit.
Updates and changes to the cookie policy
Ntasys may amend this cookie policy in line with legislative or regulatory requirements, in order to adapt it to the instructions issued by the Spanish Data Protection Agency, or for technical reasons or the reorganisation of the website; we therefore recommend that you visit it regularly.
